Jake Effoduh

Jake Okechukwu Effoduh has been a freelance journalist for 8 years. He anchors a radio programme under the BBC Media Action called “Talk Your Own Make Naija Better” – a  programme that focuses on governance issues in Nigeria which is aired on over 115 radio stations in Nigeria with about 24 million listeners tuning in weekly.

Jake is also a practicing  lawyer. He is actively involved in education and human rights.

He won the 2012 National Radio Awards for Best Community Radio Presenter and the 2014 Future Awards Prize in Community Action
